3/01/11 Spring Update
The new office building and plant expansion in Springdale AR has been completed.
The award winning ultra modern office building is now home to our sales, export, engineering, and office support teams. The addition of the Chicago assets has given us an overwhelming advantage in providing best in class service to our valued customers worldwide.
The expanded plant has the capacity to house all of the raw material, in process, and finished goods needed to meet any and all of your rock breaking needs. We take great pride in being the sole producer of rock breaking tools that are strictly made in the U.S.A.
Streamlined production and exceptional customer service has always been our primary goal, this expansion has provided us the means to this end.
9/01/10 Fall Update
We at B&L take great pride in the long and rich history we have in the Chicago area, many of our current employees are from there and remain today with our company in our new facility.
Recently we have heard that on occasion our customers are being told that we are leaving the Chicago market, nothing could be further from the truth.
We will continue to warehouse ample inventory here as well as a re-sharpening center. Our roots in the Chicago market run deep and we value each and every relationship we have.
The address may change as the company grows, but we will continue to do whatever is necessary to support our customers.
6/01/10 Summer Update
We are well into the process of consolidating our factories to Springdale, AR. The move is coming along seamlessly, and changes in our products and services are negligible.
One observable change is the lot and part number etching on striking bars, as the bars and also the demolition tools are both now being manufactured in Springdale.
We will continue to keep you updated, keep checking the site for photos of the new facilities as they are completed.

1/01/10 Consolidation
In an effort to further strengthen the current and long range position of Brunner & Lay in the marketplace, we have funded a major capital improvement at our Springdale, Arkansas manufacturing facility. This project includes building expansions and a major investment in new equipment. As part of our planning for the future and to allow Mike Brunner to more effectively manage all manufacturing operations, we are starting the process of moving our Franklin Park, Illinois manufacturing facility to Springdale, Arkansas. Our commitment is to remain a strong U.S. based manufacturer for another 127 years, taking the path we have chosen will enable us to continue to offer the consistent quality support you have come to expect from Brunner & Lay. We have detailed plans to accommodate the move, thus we do not expect you would see any disruption of service or delivery. Our Sales and Warehouse operation will remain in Franklin Park, IL as a vital part of our nationwide facilities to service our customers on a local and regionalized basis.
